Front-end BI Coordinator

As a Front-end BI Coordinator at DORC, you act as the key liaison between the business and IT, aligning global reporting needs and driving data-driven decision-making. You capture, analyze, and translate business requirements into smart reporting solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and data architecture. With a strong focus on coordination, continuous improvement and stakeholder collaboration, you support and shape the BI landscape.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • BI contact point for Supply/Demand alignment with the Global Business Units.
  • Organize, align and prioritize Report Changes and/or report initiatives together with the stakeholders in the business.
  • Capturing and analyzing reporting requirements to advise, develop and implement suiting solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for improving business processes through data analysis and proper reporting solutions & tooling.
  • 1st and 2nd line support of our Reporting Solutions.
  • Alignment with third parties related to output and new demand.
  • Fulfilling the expert role between the business users and IT regarding Reporting.
  • Leads or participates in projects and/or change initiatives to safeguard IT and Business need alignment.
  • Ensuring compliance and validation processes are followed.
  • ITIL Service Management (e.g. incident, problem, change management), when needed in close collaboration with other IT departments.
  • Coaching and advising other colleagues.

Skills, knowledge and experience:

  • A bachelor or University degree (or equivalent ability) in a related field and 6–10 years of professional experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills in English, if you speak Dutch is a plus
  • You are currently living in the Netherlands and you can work from the office in Zuidland for at least 50% of your time
  • You have strong project management capabilities, are proactive, self-starting, and capable of working in a small team, that means you have to take ownership
  • Experience in documenting business requirements and functional specifications, and test and service level management.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL (databases)/Datawarehouse Essentials and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Microsoft DAX, T-SQL and ITIL Certification is a plus
