We’re looking for a Field Service Technician 

MARCHE – ABRUZZO – UMBRIA-LAZIO - ROMAGNA

Main responsibilities:

  • Installation of surgical equipment onsite, including hardware, backup systems, and software, plus handling overnight deliveries when needed
  • Testing and checking equipment to meet all technical specifications
  • Providing technical support and onsite repairs for all DORC machines, solving first-line defects
  • Performing preventive maintenance and calibration procedures
  • Coordinating field visits with Area Sales Managers and the Sales & General Manager
  • Giving feedback to DORC HQ about quality issues and potential product improvementsAttending training events, company meetings, and trade fairs as needed
  • Willingness to travel 60% across Italy
  • Reporting to Sales & General Manager and related teams on:
    • Installation, demonstration, and training outcomes
    • Complaints, technical defects, or improvement suggestions
    • Possible sales leads, competitive activities, and key opinion leader feedback
  • Completing all required logfiles and documentation according to regulations

Skills, knowledge, and experience:

  • Technical higher professional/practical (bachelor) education, preferably biomedical
  • 1–3 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong technical insight and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent presentation skills: confident yet modest and persuasive
  • Fluent in Italian and English (minimum B2 level), written and spoken
  • Strong social skills and a collaborative spirit
  • Service-oriented mindset with a passion for customer satisfaction
  • Skilled in coordination and organization within a dynamic environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A real team player who thrives on cooperation
